Leads intake skill
Build the intake skill that files every inbound item, then run it on two days of forms, emails, voicemails, and a call transcript.
The pipeline is on disk; now the process that keeps it current. One prompt to bm-skill-builder builds a process-inbound skill that reads whatever is in the inbox, matches each item to a prospect, moves folders when a deal changes stage, appends to the log, drafts follow-ups in the owner's voice as files, and reroutes anything that isn't a sales item. Then we feed it two days of inbound and watch the pipeline move: a decline goes to Lost with a folder move, a rambling voicemail gets filed correctly, and a 32-minute call transcript turns into one paragraph of what mattered. It ends with the friction of Part A: everything is filed, and you still have to open eight folders to know what needs you today.
What's covered:
- The intake skill: match, file, move, log, draft, reroute
- Handling non-sales items with a reroute folder so nothing gets lost
- Drafts as files that stay drafts until you send them
- A skill with real structure: SKILL.md plus a steps folder
- Running two days of inbound and reading what changed
- The self-check step: every item accounted for
- Naming the sifting friction that sets up the fix
